Manali to Leh self-supported Route Map

The Manali-Leh ride follows the classic recipe of high passes and plateaux. The map below shows the route - marked by the red worm. The blue head shows the day ride out to Naggar, perfect for limbering up before the journey, and the yellow bit shows the sting in the tail - the climb to Khardung La, the world's highest motorable pass. The red appendix on day 12 marks the detour to Tso Kar lake.
